Shelter Components:
Cabinet body for wall installation
Expandable airtight protected space with liner material
impermeable to hazardous gases, bacteria and viruses
Filtration System Components (not exhaustive):
Pre-filter removes dust particles
HEPA filter separates viruses, bacteria and
other dangerous particles from air
High performance carbon filter absorbs toxic chemicals
and gases
Electric blower with manual back-up in case of power
failure (battery backup available in selected versions)
Overpressure valve to regulate positive pressure within
the compartment by introducing purified air into the
protected shelter
The filtration system creates positive pressure inside the compartment,
preventing the penetration of toxic substances.
This relieves the occupants from the necessity of wearing gas masks
or protective clothing. The air from within the shelter exhausts through
an overpressure valve generating continuous air exchange.
